WELCOME ADDRESS PRESENTED BY THE NATIONAL PRESIDENT IBEKU YOUTH ASSOCIATION - COMRADE CHIEDOZIE MARTINS NWOSU

God day your Excellencies, distinguish Senators, Rt. Hon. and Honourable members Abia House of Assembly, Hon commissioners, His Grace, Ndi Eze, the prime minister Ibeku Ancient Kingdom, ladies and gentlemen.

It is my pleasure to welcome everyone of you to this epoch making event this afternoon. Thanks to each and everyone of you for being here with us today. We are pleased to welcome you.

We thank you so much and appreciate you all for your efforts and contributions towards the achievements of the present Ibeku Youth Association Leadership and the sacrifices you have made in putting Ibeku Ancient Kingdom in the right track of peace and development.

However, we know that you are not ignorant of the social vices trending in our societies today, such as money rituals/yahoo yahoo, all to the quest to make quick money and making it by all means, is really ravaging our society today and we are not folding our hands towards this, because from time to time, we usually initiate programs such as teaching and training of our brothers and sisters in various developmental programs, skill acquisition program, which will not only make them self-reliance but also employers of labour in due time. 

In several occasions, we have initiated a human capital developmental programs that could help our Brothers and Sisters shun this prevailing menace, but due to lack of tools and permanent site we find it very difficult to cope.

Therefore,  we humbly solicit for your support to actualize  this lofty project which will help us to realize this project. We are very much aware and convinced that your support will help us to transform our Youths. It will help us in taking right decisions that will better the lives of our Youths and the lives of our various families. As we speak today, we have many of them who are desperate and interested to learn, but they don't know where to start. And we the leaders of Ibeku Youth Association sees it as our responsibilities to direct them.

More so, considering the situation on ground, the time to direct them is now. To achieve this, we must lay a solid foundation to practically checkmate social vices and youth restiveness in the society, because any good thing we fail to implement today will backfire against us tomorrow.

Thank you very much, may the good God protect you all and your families. God will reward you in hundred folds as you support us today with your hard earned resources to assist the youths in Jesus Name, Amen.
